At ChairSolutions, our chairs are crafted to last. Many of our chairs are designed to be easily reupholstered with new fabrics over time. We can also replace worn-out components to extend the life of your chair.
Environmental Commitment
As part of our dedication to sustainability, ChairSolutions New Zealand is committed to recycling and processing applicable components of our chairs. This initiative has been in place since our GECA compliance certification in 2007/2008.
Replacing Responsibly - Take Back Program
At ChairSolutions, our chairs are built to last. Many of our models are designed to be re-covered or refurbished, to help them go the distance. But even so, all chairs will some day need to be replaced. And when that time comes, we want to help make sure it’s done responsibly.
That’s why we started our Take Back Program. This simple program has been in place ever since our GECA certification in 2007, and it’s all part of our commitment to sustainability.
How does the Take Back Program work?
When a ChairSolutions chair is finally on its last legs, you can return it to us. We’ll carefully dismantle it, then sort its parts for recycling or proper disposal. Depending on the specific chair model and components, the recycling process may vary.
What does the program cost?
This policy is in place for the planet, not for profit. So while there are some unavoidable charges attached, we do our best to keep the cost to you as low as possible.
